Posted the Mountain Crest - Jan. 14 Handicap League Results

The 2012 Las Vegas Disc Golf Club ICE Bowl (Fundraiser for Shadd Tree and Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth), which was more like the SAND Blasting Bowl of 2012. We had players who played 27 holes in sustained winds of about 35 mph with gusts of 50+ mph with the following Results

SUNSET PARK Construction UPDATE :
Starting later today, January 9th, through Monday, January 23rd the parking lot off of Eastern is going to be closed. We can meet at the parking lot by Hole 21.

Our first Bag Tag event of 2012 started with a BANG! We had 99  players, which also included 5 women, 9 Juniors and the WIND to match! GO VEGAS!! So, with that said I want to challenge everyone to invite as many people as you can for our February 4th Bag Tag Event at Sunset Park to see if we can get 100!! I also want to thank Scott Merritt, Jessie Hynie, Jessica Hilbrecht, John "J-Bo" Cuthbert, Jeff Jacquart and eveyone else that helped make this our most successful Bag Tag Event to date.

Hope everyone has a Great 2012 that is filled with Happiness and great heath followed by lots of Birdies and ACES! (Like J-Bo's on New Years Day at Sunset Park on Hole 17).  Also don't forget that we have our First Bag Tag Event of 2012 on Saturday Jan. 7th at Mountain Crest Park.

The 2011 Las Vegas Disc Golf Club TOY for TOTS Drive and Round of 27 holes was a huge success with 80 players enjoying a great day with perfect weather! I want to thank Jeff Jacquart for all he did to make this the success that it was. Once we have all the totals I will get them posted. Here are the Results for the Las Vegas Disc Golf Club TOY for TOTS Drive.

The 2012 LVDGC Board Member Elections were held today (12/10) with the following Results: President - John Ricker, Director - Matt and Treasurer - Jeff Jacquart.

Posted the Mountain Crest - Nov. 12 Handicap League Results
Eddie Brooks won CTP on hole 15 and the ACE Pool is at $158 and climbing.

The November Monthly will be on the 19th starting at 9:00AM at Sunset Park. With 21 holes available its time for a Round of "TRIPLE 7's and TEN"  We will be playing 7 Holes each of - 1 Disc Challenge, Tough Shot and California Man, followed by 5 holes of 1 Disc Challenge and 5 holes of Tough Shot. Sign-ups will start at 8:00 AM.

The 2011 Las Vegas Halloween Classic was a huge success with 171 players enjoying perfect weather! I personally want to THANK Jeff Jacquart (The Gentlemen's Club Challenge UBER TD) for ALL his help and support in helping make this the best "B" Tier there is! I also want to thank Matt, Scott & Dana, Jessica, John, Roe, Jon, J-Bo, Mike and all those who supported us and for all their hard work who without this would not be possible!. Lastly I want to thank Dodie (my better half) for all her support and help with something I feel really passionate about. The results for the 2011 Las Vegas Halloween Classic.

We want to give a special thanks to Daniel Arrington for stepping up and running the Handicap League on the 8th while Scott was out of town!! We had 40 players and and growing, Dewey won a  Star Xcalibur for being CTP.  The ACE Pot is at $85 and growing.

New Release - Construction Starts at Sunset Park Public Advised of Road Closures, Many Areas of Park to Remain Open

The parking lot for Disc Golf (near baskets #1, #5, and #18) and entrance will be closed very soon for at least 45 days. P.S.  The Global and Dues course layout and parking lot needs will not be determined until after I get back from the worlds...so for the Global...at the last minute!

We want to THANK everyone who came out and supported the iDew Event hosted by Dewey's brother Darrell. 60 players played two rounds of 18 holes at Mountain Crest Park. After the rounds everyone rested up while they had sandwiches, chips and drinks. Once the payouts were done everyone had money for the LIVE Auction that was held. Once all the dust settled from the bidding wars, donations for the iDew items and the generosity of the Disc Golf Community Darrell was able to raise over $4100 for Dewey!! A HUGE THANKS goes out to INNOVA Discs, DiscGolfValues.com and the MANY disc golfers who donated discs for the LIVE Auction.

Want to Thank everyone who helped make the Las Vegas Disc Golf Club's Inaugural 100 Holes from hell the great success it was! Also want to Thank INNOVA Discs and DiscGolfValues.com for all their support and we also like for everyone to help support those that support our great sport and club. We had 66 players start and 66 players finish! Great Job Everyone! Some quick stats about the event... was 104º, 6600 Holes played, 20,911 throws for an average of 321 throws per player. It was a long day but everyone has a great time! Can't wait to do this again next year!!
